I donāt always like the world Iām in so I build my own. Wherever I go. Iāve always found escape in music when the world around me got scary or disappointing. My earliest memories are of being alone with my CD player and imagining things in my head ā like playing shows with giant crowds and my guitar. I felt a lot of pain and rejection, and created my own reality where someone like me is a superstar.
I created Krash World, a magical world made in my own image loosely based on reality, back in 2019. Itās a world for anyone feels out of place to be a superstar. I want to show kids and adults alike that they donāt have to fit into anything, they can carve out their own space.
āhow do u feel?ā is my take on 80s synth pop/rock. my most recent explorations have been with four on the floor kick patterns, simple dance-inspired drums, groove and lots of room for vocals to shine.
i made this song reflecting on myself and failed relationships, desire and love addiction. if you ever felt like thereās a person you just canāt seem to shake emotionally even after a breakup, this song is for you. i reflect the idea that you can become addicted to a person just like someone might be addicted to drugs or alcohol or caffeine, and what that feels like.
thereās a desperation to these feelings that is equally intoxicating and irritating. thereās a lot of double meanings throughout the song, reflecting the dual nature of love, desire and love addiction. red is the color that came up when i listened back to the song and it was the perfect tone for the feeling i got. red can mean STOP, danger, anger, and blood or it can stand for love and desire.
