As part of a series of works that 'recreate' Japanese tradition and culture, I have created a futuristic version of “beckoning cat”. Since the 1850’s it is believed that this cat has been placed in people’s homes and stores to bring fortune, success and luck.
I hope that it will bring good luck to the collector!
