This digital "capsule" makes reference to Lans King’s conceptual blockchain artwork called “This is my body (of work). For that work, he surgically implanted a microchip (encased in a glass capsule) into his hand. The capsule is literally connected to the physical capsule in his hand in that it carries the same code as the one store on the microchip. The gif is composed of many layers: A rendering of a glass capsule, an ASCII code background (a technique that he uses in his physical paintings), and an animation of Lans painting Anaïs de Lÿs, an artist who is frequently featured in his paintings.
