Japanese calligrapher Fuh-mi explores a much freer style at the crossroads of street art and traditional Japanese calligraphy. In the "Cat of Arms" series, she draws inspiration from Kamon, the ancient samurai heraldic devices (coat of arms), but replaces the age-old images by mischievous cats, which seem to laugh at an outmoded tradition.
