I wrote "I'm Not Superman" while in the ICU, waiting to see if my 19-year-old brother would survive his suicide attempt. Through a series of six dreams, God had told me that he was taking care of my younger brother behind the scenes. In the song, I recount my feelings of shock, grief, and love, and hope to empathize with others who have experienced tragedy.
