A young woman living in the village of Koutammakou, in the Tamberma region of
Northern Togo, which is under Unesco protection. For a Tamberna woman to be a part of that society, she must be able to live alone in the forest for 1 month. When she comes back from the forest, she is entitled to wear the horned headdress as reputation.
