I took this from the Gritti Palace, which is a truly beautiful bar with truly the slowest delivery of gin & tonics in the entire world. When I used to drink, I would go here almost every day with my friend Rene and we would order all sorts of concoctions, but mostly gin & tonics. It didn't seem to matter, but all drinks took at least 30 minutes to arrive. So, rather than wait to finish our drinks, we would go up and order as soon as our new drinks arrived. We would take turns and often use different tops and accents so they didn't know it was the same two fools over and over again.
