I often get the comment that my photos must be compositions of multiple shots from different time periods, but that is never the case. This was one of those strange weather situations where there was a broiling cloud over the perfectly sunlight temple. This scene only lasted for a few moments before the downpour.
And, lesson learned: You gotta get back to your camp before the rain hits. The mud gets incredibly thick and gums up your bike and boots, making any significant movement almost impossible. I'll just chalk that up to 1,000 lessons learned by being in a shit situation!
