I'm not often contacted by Royal families, but when I am, I end up in these positions.
Some shadowy figure in a royal family in UAE contact me through an "operator" and asked if I wanted to take the ultimate photo of Dubai. I was like, hey sure, why not? But I want to get up on top of this one particular building that I scouted out. It's about a mile from the Burj Khalifa (that supa-tall tower there) and it's exactly half-way up. What's the reason for that? Well, when you shoot with a wide-angle lens, as I often do, when you shoot from the ground-level, all the buildings kind of tilt inwards. I think that's a cool effect, but you see that photo of Dubai everywhere. I wanted one where all the lines are perfectly perpendicular and orthogonal to the horizon.
