Nothing Gold is a series of eight heavily edited photos, each overlaid with a line from Robert Frost's 1923 poem Nothing Gold Can Stay.
I've been obsessed with this poem for at least two decades, and I've used it many times in my artwork. In 2019, it entered the public domain, and this is the first time I've publicly released artwork featuring the poem.
Each of these photos is taken by me, in the stunning state of Texas. Each invokes a vague nostalgia- a concept that reinforces the message of the poem.
