Janus the Liminal God

The liminal between the conscious and the unconscious, the ethereal and the humane, emptiness and wholeness, is discussed in many ways. Janus, the Roman God, was a divine figure of what is left unsaid, yet on the threshold of appearing. Would you agree that there are times and places where you feel like you are not quite yet then or there? That’s a liminal situation.
