I am part Swiss and part Italian, and both countries have amazing mountain areas. But if I would have to decide which I like more, it would clearly be the Dolomites area.
The Dolomites are full of places that look like out of a fairytale.
I visited this spot countless times within the past years. These old roots in the foreground together with the sharp peaks in the background are what I call a perfect composition, made by Mother Nature.
And even if all pictures have almost the same setup they all look different. That's what I love in landscape photography. It is always Mother Nature herself who decides how our picture looks. Sometimes we capture the brightest colors and sometimes a dark cloudy mood.
Both could have their own beauty and its just up to us what we make out of it.
After all those visits there are two pictures which are standing out.
This is the most mystic mood I have ever captured there.
