Lady of the Sand (epic) is illustration five (5/10) from the series Ladies of the Royal Covenant, a card set from the now defunct fantasy Ethereum trading card game Merklebros.
I developed the game in 2018 with the goal of providing a fantasy trading card game where the players could vote on card mechanics and vote new cards into the game, and where artists could introduce new cards and receive royalties from those cards.
The project was discontinued after some spooky changes to the US tax law in 2018.
The fantasy universe - a world where magical Ethereum crystals fall from the sky - was created in collaboration with 15 artists from around the world and comprises some 300+ illustrations that I'm looking forward to finally publishing on Ethereum.
Proceeds from art purchases will be used to pay for more in-universe art.
