BOX23 was made during a period at the New York Parsons School of Design. The motive is inspired by the 1980s classic movie 'Raging Bull' a Martin Scorsese cult movie that has inspired multiple artist represented by today's blue chip galleries in upper Soho and Chelsea.
The piece was a digitally modified image, which was painted on to receive a dynamic composition combining different techniques. The physical exemplary was destroyed in a fire several years ago so that no physical exemplary is existent today. The showcased piece is therefore the digital and only remain of the physical exemplary. It is a unique piece that has been reviewed by several artist and gallerists of the current New York scene.
