"Simpin’ Retrolove is about complicated relationships with older or stronger girls that some of us boys could encounter on our way to manhood. I tried to represent sadness, frustration, and misunderstanding but also love and admiration of someone you thought you knew but never really got to. Hopefully time passes by and helps opening our eyes over people. We’ve all been there eventually."
On November 2020, Simpin’ Retrolove was offered to be won in La Grande Tombola du Téléthon, a unique charity lottery for AFM Téléthon, a major french NPO. The painting raised more than €3000 in raffle tickets.
Just like the physical version, this NFT will contribute the fight against rare diseases, every ETH collected will be donated to AFM Téléthon.
