In an effort to grow his reputation, Julian took it upon himself to visit the Dark Blade Guild as a representative of the Concord of Research, seeking to study the Jester's Wand - a unique artifact.
Julian could not resist the allure of the Wand, and stole it from the Crow's Den. He fled for the Stalwart Fortress but was ultimately intercepted by the wizard M3rl1n before being captured and tortured by the Darkblades.
The noble King Offling attempted to free him through a trial by combat, but was defeated by Chen, a tournament champion of great renown.
Chen orders Julian be escorted to the swamp, for some purpose yet to be revealed... but after nightfall some Decrepits are encountered amid the mud, and he manages to slip away from both danger and the Darkblades.
Julian's current whereabouts are unknown, but he has been rumored to visit the occasional tavern.
