Summer solstice on coastal Maine, brings light to a moment forever etched in my memory. A quiet moon & a wild sea - utter bliss captured on 35mm film.
This moment stands out to me as a defining moment in my career both in subject matter & mediums. The motif of the moon in many of my photographs begins here. This was also the photograph that truly connected me with the analog medium of 35mm film.
This photo is the capstone to the project "am i still dreaming?" which is a precursor to my legacy project "Before You Wake".
This was taken on the Leica CL with Kodak Portra 400.
