Gait in a Winter Wonderland

Gait is a fancy way of saying walking. Physical therapists use a tool called Observational Movement Analysis. It's a skill developed around watching people do specific movements in order to help hypothesize where movement dysfunctions might be coming from. Walking is broken down into three basic phases: weight acceptance, single leg stance, and swing leg advancement. It can sometimes look pretty, but it can sometimes look ugly like a Christmas sweater.
