Autoglyphs were the first “on-chain” generative art on the Ethereum blockchain. A completely self-contained mechanism for the creation and ownership of an artwork. Autoglyph #388 was sent to the Autoglyph Ethereum contract 0xd4e4078ca3495DE5B1d4dB434BEbc5a986197782 at 05:47:23 AM +UTC on July 15th, 2021. This action resulted in no one being able to claim ownership of Autoglyph #388. On February 25th, 2023, we made the decision to preserve Autoglyph #388 by inscribing it onto the Bitcoin blockchain. Although it now exists in a slightly different dimension as an official Bitcoin Ordinal, Autoglyph #388 can once again be enjoyed by its new owner. It still retains all of its historic and immutable beauty delivered by the blockchain.
