Around 80 paintings, ink drawings, and calligraphies from the late 14th and early 15th centuries by Muhammed Siyah Qalam are still in existence. They were created on a variety of materials, including occasionally silk. The paintings in these volumes, the majority of which have the signatures Mehmet or Muhammad Siyah Qalam, are referred to as the Fatih. The cultural and religious ritual norms of the time are shown in these paintings, which also shed light on the geography and demographics of the time. These paintings, which range in size from 335 x 485 cm and are typically attributed to Iran, show a considerable influence from Chinese art and techniques as well as Buddhist and Shamanic motifs, which were both important religions in the region of Central Asia before to the coming of Islam. I tried to build this collage in the shape of Iran's map to represent that there are devils everywhere around that country however, light will always overcome darkness.
