"Mola Art Dreamer"
Black History Month, celebrated in February, was established to focus our attention on the contributions of African American ancestors in the USA.
"I have a dream"
This is Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. 's speech on the Lincoln Memorial steps in Washington D. C. in 1963.
He dreamt that one day that all will rise up and live up to the true meaning of the creed that all men are created equal.
It doesn't appear that MLK Jr.'s dream has been completely fulfilled. We must realize that we should be hopeful, have faith, remember, and continue what he started to fulfill his dream...our dream.
We, our children, our children's children, must pick up where our ancestors left off until his dream is fulfilled.
