My all-time favorite image I’ve snapped of Pepper. It might not be the most perfect in terms of setup or technical quality, but it’s Pepper’s expression that captures my heart so deeply. We were kayaking up one of our local rivers into the valley between the moody mountains, when Pepper, slightly concerned about the potential of an incoming storm, kept turning back to check in with me. Though an adventurous pup, he can read the weather/potential situations like nothing else and will check in frequently to make sure we are okay; a gaze full of loving concern and loyal eyes that can always quage my energy levels. In moments like this I realize how close our bond really is, and this image portrays the feeling perfectly.
