Lilit is a creature with an evil spirit in Jewish mythology, who served Satan and, according to the Babylonian Talmud, was the first wife of Adam. He is mentioned in Isaiah 34:14 in the Tanakh. It is claimed that it also appeared in the mythology of gnosticism in Late Antiquity.
