The social process of settlement in Brazil was markedly characterized by prejudice against Indigenous Peoples since the first contact with the non-indigenous element, whose relationship has always proved to be disastrous, either because of the infectious diseases brought from overseas, or by the appropriation of their lands, either by the invalidation of their traditional way of life and the total discredit of their beliefs, or, finally, by the very enslavement of their bodies. After more than five hundred years, it remains for us to reflect on what society this is, which is incapable of respecting the indigenous, even with laws that govern the importance of equal treatment, regardless of physical, cultural, social aspects, among others; laws that are grounded in the Constitution. - Concept: ©MONOGRAMA - #GUARDIAN79 - Geo Location: https://bit.ly/3KTmONk
