As with the 1st artwork I released on the Monograma Guardian Project, I believe that every single person on earth must be a guardian, no matter where they are located. Consequently, my 2nd Guardian is an ethnic woman from a remote village in the mountains of North Vietnam.
This woman lived in a small house on the edge of a road leading down into the valley. Only three houses and a small village at the bottom of the mountain. A stunning view, but very hard living conditions. As I looked at this woman with her child watching the horizon, it felt as if I was looking at a statue that is steadily watching over her children and observing the world around her... Because of this, I decided to animate only the rest of the image and not her.
This cryptoart piece is based on two of my photographs from the award-winning photo essay "PORTRAITS OF STRENGTH: Ethnic Women in North Vietnam" (https://bit.ly/3OqcBtF), later animated using cinemagraph techniques, parallax effect & sound. My documentary work focuses mainly on social, anthropological and humanitarian issues. At the same time, I remain very much involved in Fine Art Photography and the NFT space. Concept: ©MONOGRAMA - #GUARDIAN14 - Geo Location: https://bit.ly/3HNLaW6
