Damascus Van Damme, an up and coming purveyor of the Intergalactic Language field, learned of the Universal Primate Captivity Crisis from activists attending The College of Banebridge and joined the expedition to free the captive primates of Earth. Born into the Pioneer caste of Apskellion Space Apes, Damascus's colony was sacked by a faction of Zealots, and they were taken in by the Doctors when they came to help. Now, with the native primates still in captivity on Earth, Damascus and the Doctors venture to fulfill the promise of release that the Homo Insipiens have reneged.
