Coriolanus Gaul was present when first contact was initially made with the Homo Insipiens of Earth, and after having earned their Civil Engineering Doctorate from The Department of Mercury Retrograde they have joined the expedition to return and bring the venture full circle. Born into the Pioneer caste of Apskellion Space Apes, Coriolanus's colony was sacked by a faction of Zealots, and they were taken in by the Doctors when they came to help. Now, as their mission leads them to Earth, Coriolanus and the Doctors will attempt to put their skills and education to work as best they can for the sake of the primates there.

Cassio Mansell was present when first contact was initially made with the Homo Insipiens of Earth, and after having earned their Architecture Doctorate from Pulsar-Payne University of Berenes they have joined the expedition to return and bring the venture full circle. Cassio was raised on a far rim colony on the New Frontier where they were eventually stationed at the Mesopotanix Ten Council in a support role, where word of primates in captivity on Earth reached and spurred many into action. Now, as their mission takes them to Earth, Cassio and the Doctors seek to confront the Homo Insipiens for their failure to free their captive primates as they had promised to do so long ago.
