Grady Varius, an up and coming purveyor of the Applied Science field, learned of the Universal Primate Captivity Crisis from activists attending The College of The Holy Pulsar and joined the expedition to free the captive primates of Earth. Born of the more aggressive Zealot caste of Apskellion Space Apes, Grady was abandoned in a New Frontier colony and adopted into a family of Doctors, eventually learning to embrace their more empathic ways. Now, with the native primates still in captivity on Earth, Grady and the Doctors venture to fulfill the promise of release that the Homo Insipiens have reneged.
