Champ Maitland, a veteran activist of the Universal Primate Captivity Crisis movement at Dire-Ethos Technical College of Vulpecula, has been on several primate retrieval operations in the 21 years since earning their Astrobiology Doctorate. Born into the Pioneer caste of Apskellion Space Apes, Champ's colony was sacked by a faction of Zealots, and they were taken in by the Doctors when they came to help. With their sights now set on Earth, Champ and the Doctors will do what is needed to bring freedom to the wrongly imprisoned primates that remain.
