As an expert in the field of Nuclear Fusion Sciences, Varon Nightshade has long been a prominent name amongst the ranks of the Doctors, and now uses that influence to help steer the focus of their primate liberation efforts. Born of the more aggressive Zealot caste of Apskellion Space Apes, Varon was abandoned in a New Frontier colony and adopted into a family of Doctors, eventually learning to embrace their more empathic ways. Now, as their mission leads them to Earth, Varon and the Doctors are dedicated to the liberation of the primates in captivity there.
