A prominent figure in the field of Geological Science, Equinox Merritt became an activist in primate liberation after completing their tenure at Wolf-Lundmark-Merlotte Charter School of Draco. A child of the Zealot caste of Apskellion Space Apes, Equinox was left behind in a conflict with the Doctors and was taken into their care and raised as one of their own, but waits for the day that they can break free and return to their own people. Now, as their mission takes them to Earth, Equinox and the Doctors seek to confront the Homo Insipiens for their failure to free their captive primates as they had promised to do so long ago.
