Wotta [#189]

The wottas of Worm are distant relatives of the trotta from Ohk. They use their natural speed to rescue travellers who get stuck on the rim of Worm’s black hole. Accidents happen rarely but when they do occur wottas are sent in as the initial rescue response. They run in the opposite direction to the time vortex thus balancing out its gravitational pull. As the wotta speeds around it will try to grab the stranded traveller by stretching out its moustache tentacles. It will then drag the rescued traveller back to Worm’s surface. They are a remarkable and brave species.
