Ino [#137]

Once most of the tourists have left Stanley beach for the evening the ino start to wake up. They carefully scrutinise the sand for exposed maurienne tentacles as the light fades and once they’ve found a maurienne they will patiently wait until darkness falls. Then they strike. They sink their razor sharp goofy teeth into the mauriennes tentacles causing mass panic on the beach. The Mauriennes try their best to shake the inos off but the ino just loves the challenge of hanging on. The two of them locked together running up and down the beach is quite a sight, but most people are fast asleep and miss the whole thing. Why do they do it? No one knows.
