Stanley’s used to provide rides for small children on Stanley beach. Children used to take delight in feeding them small treats such as balboa eggs. Unfortunately after the much publicised bludgeoning of the 'weeble twins' in 1936 all the remaining Stanley herds were gathered up for culling. The wealthy mine owner and philanthropist Bernie Tittitibbs managed to save them and they now break kaponite boulders in the legendary kaponite mines of Zelk.
