This photo was taken on October 11th, 2014 at an ice cave in Granite Falls, WA. I went here by myself regularly as a place to dettach, to reconnect with nature and myself. I later brought my best friend, who has struggled with hemophelia, as a small adventure we could take together. After walking and then crawling through, we made it to this incredibly magical waterfall at the very back of the cave. It was an experience that truly changed both of our lives. Soon after, the ice melted and the cave was gone. Once in a while, the cave reforms, only to melt again, each time reforming in a completely new and unique way. This one will forver be ours, while lost, it is captured through this photograph and will now live forever on the blockchain.
