It reflects a fear that our attempts to flourish may be fruitless in spite of how exhausting they are; that we are just running in circles while time runs out. Cynical as that may sound, Panic Blooms embraces the frenetic thrill of that play to beat mortality, delusional as it is, hoping that even if we can’t avoid death, we may eventually find ourselves sated with life, having at least tried.
