The music could barely sang its melody through the white noise. It was a cheap radio, after all. But even this jumbled mess of noise couldn't fill up the foreboding silence between the two.
"Was it right, what we did?" Haven pulled her body weight back almost in frustration, bringing the spring to its limit. The rusty horse cries out a miserable creak.
