When I was having to examine my life, I had to shed light in the darkest parts to find everything. That process was exhausting.
I tried convincing myself that it assent that bad, justified minimized and rationalized. I was silencing myself, and hurting myself in the process.
It wasn't until I stopped fooling myself and learned to be honest, open minded and willing to do the work. Once I stopped being stubborn I was able to shine that light into every dark place.
