Whether we are considering the daily cycles of Earth’s one ocean in response to gravitational forces, the separation and movement of continents within it over the deep historic time of the planet, or the mutual exchange of this precious fluid amongst all life forms that have ever existed, water has been the true life blood, the one connection... the constant. It is ancient and precious and rare in the known universe. It is why we exist. To contemplate this is to honour its history and protect its future.
The elements of the 'Forging' series were created entirely in oils. The final stages employ digital imaging.
