"The thing about pulling a frame from an animation is that I have to consider if that particular frame captures the essence of the entire sequence. Because I am repeating certain gestures quickly over several frames, each frame has a very slightly different feel. Once I have settled on a particular frame to use as a still image I do not modify it any way. I don't think this is of any importance to the viewer. But it is vital for me to keep the integrity of that moment."
