“- How did you feel the day of your Transformation?
- That day i felt really nervous, despite i spent weeks talking with my father about how the Transformation worked. I think not even the most calmed parasite on Forenhost could keep it all together in such big and important day.
- It seems like a big deal, could anything go wrong on a Transformation?
- Oh yeah, of course there is a risk in every one of them. Sometimes the human corpse is infected with some unknown disease and you wouldn´t know it until some days later. Luckily, human diseases don´t affect us parasites the same way, but they can be for us a pain in the neck. I had a friend which host had the Black Tears illness, that was actually what killed it, but the Transformation Center didn´t know that for some missing files on the corpse delivery process. My friend had an awful reaction to her host and spent month sick until she could finally change it.
- Did your friend had to spend a lot of time sick just because she had to wait for a new host for her?
- Yes.
- So, how hard is for parasites to get new and fresh human corpses? Is the usual delivery not enough?
- Well, it seems that there are not so many human corpses as you would expect, seeing how often and easily they can get sick and die or get killed. The problem is that we cannot use every corpse human´s send us. They know it and say that they have no way of preventing this kind of issues.
- How is that?
- Sometimes human corpses have substances in their blood that are toxic for us parasites, sometimes they are not so fresh as we expect them to be.
- How Grok Parasites are taking this? Has it always been like that?
- Some say the situation was better years ago, when i wasn´t even born. But recently, more and more parasites are staring to think humans are trying to kill us little by little, giving us bad corpses on purpose.
- What do you think about that?
- I prefer to think they are just as screwed as we are.”
