This work was especially created for the exhibition “Apparition/Disparition” taking place in the holy Chapel of l’Hotel-Dieu in Lyon, France from May 19th to 21st 2022. Here, I reinterpreted the sacred church in a vaporous and onirique style showing the dematerialization of La Pietà, liberating the souls of the Virgin Marie and Jesus Christ from flesh and matter, enabling their ascent to the hereafter. Half of the funds received from the sale will go directly to the Priest’s wallet for the Chapel renovation. --- Cette pièce a été spécialement réalisée pour l’exposition “Apparition/Disparition” qui aura lieu au sein de la chapelle de l’Hotel-Dieu à Lyon du 19 au 21 mai 2022. Cette œuvre est une réinterprétation vaporeuse et onirique de la sainte chapelle illustrant la dématérialisation de La Pietà ; nous pouvons y voir les âmes de la Sainte-Vierge et de Jesus Christ se libérer de la chair et de la matière et s’envoler vers l’au-delà. La moitié des fonds récoltés iront directement dans le wallet du prêtre de la chapelle pour contribuer aux rénovations de celle-ci.
