The early Marsonauts project started in summer 2021. The Marsonauts is a collaborative, continuous project between Nero Cosmos x Soulengineer. Each day a “Marsonaut” is created, named and posted until the first human will land on Mars (expected in 2030). This image is generated by an artificial intelligence model trained on photos of astronauts, cosmonauts, taikonauts and Mars landscapes.
