To Conquer explores the importance of our thoughts. How heavy they impact our decisions and if realised, truely, how much control we have over them. They are no small matter. They are everything, and to remember at every moment we have a choice. This work reflects the choice made by the artist at an incredibly testing time. The Flowers have Arrived is a follow on from Oxygen Collection. These pieces speak to the aftermath. The worst has happened and you're going through the motions of everyday life without the very thing you intended. Constant reminders arrive when you wish they wouldn't, proving to you this is real.
