Walks of life is our street, when we are together. For good and for bad. Streets are the veins of life of our civilization. Our school and our most colorful 360' scene theater. Something we share day and night. Nobody can take away our simple human need for us to be together. We all have the ability to make the world a better place. Not by schedules and money, but by simply accepting the fact that we all have one Earth, which belongs to all of us. And we are still gonna have it for some time, despite the Lunar and the Martian bright, but still foggier and uncertain future.
Walks of life was intended to be a compilation and then it came as it is, based on more than a decade of personal works. For me this is the most complex and exciting piece I have ever done! This compilation is made mostly of digital drawings on tablet, the oldest one included dating back to 1994.
My love for comics comes from the French comics compilation 'PIF' from the 1970s. One of the few 'diamonds' from the 'bad' west, piercing the iron wall of communism. Luckily my mom was working in the Central Post Office and every Friday night I was supplied with an edition of PIF. Which was very very hard because of the few editions selling only at that office for the whole country, mainly for the elite of the country. I had a huge collection shared with all my friends through the years:) Thank you mom for making me feel great!:)
