Corazón con Sazón is the result of an improv VR live art performance which was guided by the sound, energy, and vibrations surrounding Creatress during its creation. The 3D sculpture was created in front of a live audience during a VR Performance that took place at the first Sazón event organized by Move the Needle on June 19, 2022 in Jersey City. The performance brought latin culture, dance, improv, transmutation and collaboration together for an experiential event that mixed both our physical reality and virtual reality simultaneously. This artwork is an abstract 3D sculpture inspired by the subtle energy of the people in the space where it was created, considering the science of electromagnetic communication; each heart present at the performance was creating its own magnetic field that could be subtly affecting the overall energy of the room. The subtle vibrations created by each heart are then transmuted or translated by the artist into shapes and colors which is what makes up the final sculpture; an homage to this specific place, time and living energy of the night. The performance would not have been possible without the vision of Jose who gave the invitation and technical assistance by Andrea Lopez onsite. Created in Virtual Reality using the application Gravity Sketch for Oculus Quest 2. This 3D VR native sculpture can also be experienced in Augmented Reality by the collector using a unique file type they will receive. The collector of this artwork will receive JPGs, the GLTF file and an Augmented Reality file for their personal use.
