The Chemo-Digital Prints for Body Alchemy were developed through a long period of time and experimentation with photographic chemistry in the darkroom, followed by some digital post-production and finishing, constitute the basis of this -still ongoing- project, all the more so after finding Salvador Dali’s amazing exhibition “Alchemy of the Philosophers” which rekindled my interest in the symbolic, spiritual and ritualistic meaning of the Transmutation processes, and how it affects visual perception, and promises to accompany me for many many years, probably till the end my life in this planet.
