Kairos is a series of self-initiated digital works inspired by the future meaning of luxury, speculating on the idea that the ultimate luxury product is no longer an object, but an aura, comprising of joy, wonderment and sanctuary.
These images aim to depict the consumer transition from possessions to curated atmospheres, in a world where air, sound and space are seen as precious.
Kairos was originally created as still images that heavily referenced the use of motion within 3D design.
Kairos 2.0 is part of The Lumen x KnownOrigin Collection 2022, known as GPS_Genesis.
For this collaborative project Lucy has reworked two of the original Kairos pieces by altering their movement, colour and texture.
Collectors will not only receive a one of one artwork, but also GPS coordinates to a geo-cache where something more awaits them…
