In the lost city of El Dorado there is a magical power that flows through the veins of its inhabitants. One warrior, the Gilded Queen, has fought for her people and for her city against many who wished to steal its riches. Those who fight with the purest of heart and the most honor are bestowed a power flowing deep from below the cities foundations. Gold flows through the veins of the worthy marking them as the purest of heart among the living warriors and after death. Though this power is a blessing it is also a curse. The longer these warriors live, the more gold flows through their veins until one day they become but a golden statue of their former self, stuck in time never to pass on into the afterlife. They stand as an eternal sigil reminding those that take up protection of the city that they must be of the purest honor to uphold the legacy of El Dorado.
