"NEW BEGINNINGS" is a homage to the fact that in life you will always find new ways. You change yourself and the way you see things. So 2021 was also the year full of changes, full of events, full of opportunities but also hurdles.
NEW BEGINNINGS is one of my latest pictures, taken on the way to Lake Antermoia in South Tyrol, Italy. It describes my photography very well, which is why I chose this image as the Genesis Piece for Known Origin. Minimalistic, full of adventure and inspired by the shapes and colors of nature.
We hiked there for 5 hours. I have probably never sweated so much in my life. The calves and the back hurt, but for this incredible landscape it is worth it all! The outcome is a tribute to life and the possibilities we all have in our lives.
